so we've ridding a total of 18 days so far and everyone wants to know how we shower... well, the fact is we've had 7 real showers and 10 outdoor hose showers using soap. so we're not as dirty and smelly as you think when we go to bed.. of the 18 days there is only one day where we did not shower.. that was our first day without a house.. we learned quickly that rinsing off with the hose is a good idea.. in fact it's much better than showering because you don't waste nearly as much water and it's super refreshing since it's generally cold water.. unless it's late at night, then it kind of sucks because you're cold..
either way, we are pretty clean by the time we head off to bed...
so there you have it..
i'll try to take photographs of hosing off so you can all see what i'm talking about.

Ok So this is Alison, friend of John (John we miss you and can't wait to catch up when we are all back in the same state) back to my question: david and I leave on Saturday and I would like to blog on the way however we are camping, how do you guys blog? where do you guys blog? also do you know everyone you stay with your do you just ask people who are working in their yards if you can crash at their house that night. We are planning to camp but if something goes wrong it would be nice to know the protocol.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Dual Quadzilla Engine comment....only you John! You guys are crankin it. Wish I could be there with ya... oh how you will see the Rockies in the distance and it will feel like FOREVER till you actually get there, but it will be OH so worth it. Keep it up fellas!
