late start

it's 9:20 and we haven't left yet. bad sign.. it's going to be a late night.. most likely riding until sunset tonight.. we should cross the mississippi river today sometime.. we crossed the illinois river last night, probably one of the scariest experiences of my life. no shoulder, the sidewall was only 2 feet high and the drop would have probably killd me.

then i wiped out on the hill afterwards because the roads were so slick due to the flash storm. funny thing though, my phone ring as i wiped out and it was a friend. definitely made the wipeout much more tolerable. nice timing friend.

alright, i need to finish breakfast and make some moves out of this joint.... i'll try to blog again soon, but it most likely won't be until monday. i also have a few important phone calls to make, if you're reading this, i'll make them if possible! the time difference makes it more difficult as i am running on central time now.
